2000 Circles

This is one of the 12 sculptures made in the millennium year which contain 2000 elements - here they are holes made in a large snow disc on Mt Ruapehu, in the North Island of New Zealand. It was made during a white out on the mountain and then pierced a week later so that when the sun rose over the ridge it sparkled through the holes.
