Born 1946 in London, UK. Trained in Art and Design, London. Creative Director at prominent communications design companies in London, Nairobi, Kenya, Sydney, Australia and Auckland New Zealand from 1966 to 1987. In 1987 formed his own strategic design company Poulsen & Hill Design in Auckland, NZ, becoming Martin Hill Design in 1992. Winner of many international and national awards for creative excellence, including, twice, the Gold Best Design Award, the Clio Award, Axis Award and IABC Gold Quill Award. Example of his design work is on permanent exhibition at the National Bibliotheque du Graphique in Nice. 1992 Speaker at the first international Eco Design Conference, Centre for design RMIT Melbourne. |
